Stellarware Corporation Awarded Contract by Minnesota to Oversee State's New Hire Reporting CenterStellarware Corporation, a leader in providing innovative software solutions and data management services, is proud to announce that it has been awarded a contract by the State of Minnesota to manage and operate the State's New Hire Reporting Center. This new contract commenced on July 1, 2024, marking a significant milestone as Stellarware's fourteenth concurrent new hire reporting contract.
The contract award follows a Request for Proposal (RFP) issued on March 27, 2024, by the Minnesota Department of Human Services on behalf of the State's Child Support Division. Stellarware will bring its extensive experience in new hire reporting, already managing similar projects for thirteen other states, to Minnesota's vital initiative.
Brittany Bessette, Corporate Director at Stellarware, expressed the company's enthusiasm: "We are honored to have been selected to manage Minnesota's New Hire Reporting Center. This mission-critical project aligns with our commitment to enhancing public service through advanced data management solutions. We look forward to collaborating closely with the State of Minnesota and its employers to ensure the success of this program."
The initial contract term is two years, with potential extensions up to a total of three years through subsequent amendments. This contract will transition to the Department of Children, Youth, and Families (DCYF) following its establishment on July 1, 2024, per the Minnesota 2023 Session Laws.
New hire reporting is essential for the efficient administration of child support programs. By collecting data on newly hired employees, rehired employees, recalled employees, and independent contractors, the State can locate child support obligors, establish paternity, and enforce child support orders. This information also supports statistical reporting and fraud detection efforts.
Stellarware's scope of work will include managing the daily operations of the new hire reporting program, providing customer and technical support to the State and employers, developing outreach and compliance procedures, and ensuring data security. Stellarware's expertise in data verification, data entry, electronic data transmission, and quality control positions it as an ideal partner for Minnesota's new hire reporting needs.
